Chinese Water Electric Corp. Delegation meets President Zardari

ISLAMABAD, Apr 11 (APP): A Chinese delegation headed by Luo Guojun, President of China Water and Electric Corporation (CWE) on Saturday briefed President Asif Ali Zardari about the current level of cooperation between CWE and WAPDA and future prospects of the projects to be undertaken by CWE.

The delegation called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan?e?Sadr.

President Zardari expressed satisfaction over current status of joint project and emphasized for further enhancing this collaboration and team work.

From Chinese side, Chinese Ambassador Luo Zhouhoi, Yan Xinde, General Manager CWE Pakistan, Wang Xingning, Vice President CWE International Investment, Wang Shenliang, Vice President CWE International Business were present.

Among others who attended the meeting included Salman Faruqui, Secretary General to the President, Dr. Asim Hussain, Advisor to Prime Minister on Petroleum and Natural Resources, Kamal Majidullah Advisor to PM, Ms. Farahnaz Ispahani and Shahid Rafi, Secretary Water and Power.
